Cranfield is the UK’s only specialist postgraduate university intechnology and management. It has two campuses; the main campus is at Cranfield,Bedfordshire, and the second is the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom atShrivenham, southwest Oxfordshire.

Located on the other side of the Cranfield campus airfield, Cranfield village is a very popular student accommodation option, with a good choice of privately rented houses flats and lodgings. You can cycle to the campus on the dedicated cycle path in 10 minutes; arrive by bus in 5 minutes or walk in 30 minutes. An attractive village, Cranfield offers a wide range of amenities, including supermarkets,take-away restaurants, chemist, post office and hairdresser. In addition to Cranfield, other nearby villages with accommodation include Wootton, North Crawley and Marston Moretaine. Alternatively, the lively towns of Bedford and Milton Keynes offer a wealth of accommodation options, together a regular bus service to the Cranfield campus and fast rail access into London.
